back in the saddle ...

This afternoon I picked up my DSLR for the first time in two months, before walking to the park ...

I reminded myself how much I love using a big camera ~ the weight, the control, the sound of the shutter.

Spring seems imminent here ... the weather this past week could almost be considered warm and trees are covered in buds ready to burst. I can't wait. I miss the colour. On my windowsill ...

Wishing you a creative week ahead!

I feel like I only use my DLSR for product photography but I agree with what you are saying - there is something about it I love, as much as I love instagram and iphonegraphy it is nice to remind myself what i can do with my big camera too.

Your pictures are great! I'm just new to the iphone so taking pictures on that has been a bit of a buzz, but I have to say, even though I don't have a great camera, I do prefer it's pictures. I think I'll always favour it..x

I love all your photo's, SLR or Instagram, they always give us a picture of where you are at. It's funny how our bulky, fancy camera's have taken a back seat lately, but it's also lovely to rediscover them. I guess the iPhone is so portable that it's easy to forget about other ways to take photo's. We're lucky to have the best of both worlds! Keep on snapping xo

I just can't get into phone photography, I love the feel of the big camera, it gives a steadiness that I can't get with my phone.
I love all your pictures, thanks for sharing those wintery ones, its way too hot here in Brisbane!
